College Republicans National Leadership
Chairman
In June 2025, JT Marshburn was elected National Chairman of the College Republican National Committee. JT is a Georgia native and Political Science student at the University of Georgia. He got his start in politics at the age of 14, volunteering on a variety of local, state, and federal campaigns. Within College Republicans, JT has immense experience in voter outreach, participating in door knocking deployments, and phone banking nights.
JT previously served as National Secretary of the College Republican National Committee, where he supported national operations and worked to grow campus engagement across the country.
In his free time, JT enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at the lake with friends and family.

Executive Director
Ian Waite was appointed the Executive Director of the College Republican National Committee in June 2025. Prior to this role, Ian served as the Political Director of the CRNC, where he led the campaign operations of the organization during the 2023 and 2024 cycles.
Ian started in politics by door knocking for a Republican state delegate during his senior year of high school. After graduating, he attended George Mason University from 2018 - 2022, and upon arriving to campus, became a member and later a leader of his chapter of College Republicans. He is a proud, lifelong Virginian and currently resides with his wife in Alexandria.
